The Michael Traveler is a very large travel bag - replace your suitcase for that train or car trip! Designed to open wide with a double-zipper top, it is easy to fill and easy to find anything inside.

The pattern was designed for quilting cotton and can be made on a domestic sewing machine! However, depending on your machine, you can certainly try vinyl, denim, or cork, but adjustments to interfacing and stabilizers may be required.

This bag is structured and holds a whole lot!! The pattern features exterior end pockets designed to gape slightly to hold extra and a front cargo pocket with a secure twist lock closure. On the back you’ll find a luggage sleeve to slip over your suitcase handle (or stitch the bottom closed for a slim slip pocket. Inside are big zipper and slip pockets, as well as gathered end pockets to help keep you organized. The construction includes two finishing techniques - either turned through the large zipper pocket, or binding.
