The pattern was designed for quilting cotton, light canvas, or light denim and can be made on a domestic sewing machine! If you want to adapt it to cork, vinyl, or faux leather you will want to change up the interfacing and stabilizers to suit your chosen materials.
The Howie Bowler Bag comes in two versatile sizes, a small handbag and large carry-all. Both are designed with a splashy piece of hardware right up front on the flap covering the slip pocket keeping it secure. You’ll find a handy slip pocket on the back and an inside zipper pocket to keep small things in one place. Hook on the crossbody strap to keep your hands free, or carry it by the handles for a classic look.

- Handbag: 10” (25.4 cm) wide, 8” (20.3 cm) tall, and 4” (10.2 cm) deep
- Carry-all: 16” (40.6 cm) wide, 12” (30.5 cm) tall, and 6” (15.2 cm) deep
